 | Another exciting and packed month at PEPY! This past month we have had THREE volunteer trips. From Stung Treng to Kep and everywhere in between, it's been great! We painted a mural, built a rainwater collection unit and slapped a fresh layer of paint on some classrooms! For those of you who joined us on these trips, lets this newsletter be a trip down memory lane.
For those of you who were not able to join us, take a look at what great experiences we have had and check out how you can be involved with PEPY in the future! We are now accepting applications for PEPY internships and English Teachers.
WOW! We have had some generous support recently, and I want to thank all of you who have stepped up to support PEPY's work. Jeffrey Pechter, a PEPY supporter from Delray Beach Florida, believes in the work PEPY is doing, and wants to show a long term commitment which will ensure PEPY's sustainability over the next few years. He has offered PEPY a matching grant of $5000 per year for the next five years, if there is someone (or someones!) out there who are willing to match this. The $10,000 per year would pay all of PEPY's current Cambodian staff for the 5 year period and ensure that our programs can be managed for the long term. Thank you so much Jeffrey!
Have you seen PEPY's new trip offerings for the 2007-2008 season? We have a safari temple ride, a ride to the coast, and of course The PEPY Ride III. They are all listed on our current website www.pepyride.org under PEPY Trips, but make sure to keep checking in, as a new version of the PEPY site is coming out soon! The PEPY newsletter will be back in May with coverage of the Golden Week volunteer trip. Until then, happy new year!! The PEPY Team

Almost exactly one year ago a group of English teachers from Japan set a goal of raising funds to open the second PEPY School. Last month these very same teachers made the journey back to Cambodia to officially open the school they helped build the PEPY Friends School.
